NOVEMBER TELLER 12

Whites

Snoqualmie (Organic Unoaked Chardonnay), Washington

Allure of spice-poached pear on the nose and then a big burst of unrestrained ripe fruit on the palate. A smidge of apricot and notes of ginger, cinnamon and clove round out a full and pleasing mid-palate.

Gini Soave Classico (Garganega), Italy

A transparent straw color, it breathes rich aromas of honey & almonds, figs and dates. Deliucate floral overtones, medium body is shaped by zippy acidity. Long and persistent finish.

Villa D’Adige (Rosato), Veneto, Italy

Beautiful salmon color with rich fruit structure, leading to a minerally, dry and long finish. It’s not just for summer anymore. Enjoy with all of your Fall meals and at Thanksgiving.

Frisk (Riesling), Australia

This zippy Riesling is floral and weighted, with notes of lime sorbet, rose petals and a hint of fennel. With its racy verve, subtle complexity and just a tinge of sweetness, it’s a perfect companion for both sweet and spicy dishes. And turkey!

Mosby (Pinot Grigio), Santa Barbara, California

This classic varietal shines with aromas of ripe pear and citrus, followed by a clean, herbal finish. Complex enough to enjoy with fried calamari or Gorgonzola penne pasta.

Elk Cove (Pinot Gris), Willamette Valley, Oregon

Tangerine and pineapple on the nose, this wine gives a punch of fresh peach, ripe pear and a hint of anise on the palate. With a mouth-coating viscosity and a lush lingering finish, this is a serious white wine.

Reds

Banfi Centine (Sangiovese Blend), Tuscany, Italy

This is a smooth cuvee of indigenous grape varietals. Aged 4-6 months in barriques, rich in berry flavors wrapped in supple tannins. Ideal partner for pastas, roasts, and aged cheeses.

El Burro (Garnacha), Spain

The Kickass Garnacha has a nose of raspberry, cherry fruit with earthy notes of spice, leather, vanilla and mocha. Full bodied with fine, soft tannins and well-balanced acidity and raspberry and wild berry fruits give way to a long, smooth, spicy finish.

Robertson (Pinotage), South Africa

Smoky and wonderful. Produced in the early style with flavors of ripe strawberries and cherry. 5 months in oak. A perfect accompaniment to bacon cheeseburger or anything grilled.

Chateau Julien (Merlot, Cabernet, Malbec, Petite Verdot Blend), California

Like royalty, this blend has rich, intense flavors of plum and cherry. Finish is spice and chocolate. Velvety tannins will not overpower your Thanksgiving meal.

Villa De Anges (Cabernet Sauvignon), Pays D’OC, France

A wine of great freshness, intensity and concentration. It is well-structured, offering aromas of black cherries with hints of red pepper and light, spicy cumin/coriander notes.

Rutherford Vintners (Merlot), Napa Valley, California

Ruby black color. Toasty aromas and flavors of crusty blackberry pie ala mode, chocolate toffee, and spice.  Silky, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a polished, snappy crème brulée, cedar, mocha, and gravel finish with firm, crunchy tannins and light oak.
