Teller 12

February Teller 12

Trulli (Vermentino), Salento, Italy

Elegant aromas of lemon peel, peach, mango and dry herbs. The saline minerality comes through. Finishes complex and fresh acidity.

Sposato (Torrontes, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay), Mendoza, Argentina

This reworked blend used to be called “sweet blend.” But this version shows tropical fruit aromas and flavors. Perfect with all spicy Asian foods.

La Vie En Rose (Rosé of Cinsault), Languedoc, France

Love is in the air! Pink rose petal color, fresh nose deliciously scented with raspberry, cherry and grenadine. Enjoy with your love and fried oysters.

L’Effet Papillon (Grenache Blanc), France

Zippy and fresh, white jasmine scents loaded with flavors of fresh melon and apricot fruit. Exotic finish with a hint of salinity.

Di Giovanna (Grillo), Sicily, Italy

Organic. Expressive bouquet of ripe ruby red grapefruit, pineapple and herbs. Rich and bright mouthfeel with notable acidic core and notes of almonds.

Bouchard Aine & Fils (Chardonnay), Pays D’Oc, France

Full of history and fine flavor, this wine pays tribute to the General Counsellor, who devoted his life to the renown of the noble grapes of his home region. Bright light straw color. Discreet nose of stewed fruits and honey. Mouthfeel is rich and lush with good minerality and slight savory finish.

** We recommend chilling your whites but taking them out of the fridge  30-40 minutes before serving for the flavors to open up in room temperature.

Chateau De Sablet (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon), Bordeaux, France

Old World style with New World fruit. Plush black cherry and blueberries, structured mouthfeel and long integrated oak finish.

Barista (Pinotage), South Africa

Coffee scented! Finishes with a bit of smooth and rich mocha. A most delightful Pinotage with smoky undertones and one of our staples here for the past 17 years.

Steele Writer’s Block (Counoise), Lake County, California

This grape is one of the 13 approved varietals in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Old world at its best, brick red in color, good structure and eucalyptus at the finish. It will get your writing juices flowing again.

Van Zellers (Tawny Port), Portugal

This aged Port makes a delicious dessert wine and is the perfect finish to any meal. Mince pies, cakes, milk chocolates, walnuts, and crème brulee. Enjoy in front of the fireplace with your love on Valentine’s Day!

Il Cuore “My Heart” (Zinfandel), North Coast, California

Dark cherries with woodsy and peppery note. Medium bodied and supple on the palate with flavors of ripe berries, plums and black pepper. Pair with roasted lamb, herbed chicken, hearty pasta, pizza and burgers.

Agua de Piedra (Malbec), Mendoza, Argentina

Aromas of plums and red berries. Intense rich berry fruit on the entrance. Finishes strong and smooth with root spices and a little earthiness. Tannins are enrobed in rich creamy fruit.

**We recommend chilling all of your reds down to 60-64 degrees before serving.
